Kambiz Shahbazi founded KS Partners, LLC in 2007. Under his leadership, the company currently owns and manages a diverse mix of office, flex, R&D and retail properties in the Northeast United States. Prior to launching KS Partners, LLC, Mr. Shahbazi was co-founder and principal of Everest Partners, LLC for 10 years, overseeing all of the firm’s day-to-day activities and identifying and evaluating its investment and acquisition opportunities. Beginning his real estate career in 1985 with New York City-based North American Development, Inc., Mr. Shahbazi formed KS Land Company, Inc. in 1987, a company primarily involved with land development and shopping center acquisitions.

Mr. Shahbazi received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and his MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties), REFA (Real Estate Finance Association), and ULI (Urban Land Institute) and is an Advisory Board Member for The Mount Sinai Medical Center and a board member of Museum of Art and Design. Mr. Shahbazi is married with two children and resides in New York City, NY.

Nazgol Saati joined KS Partners, LLC in 2008 as a Director of Finance. She oversees the implementation of the company’s investment and operating strategies and manages the financial planning and reporting for all of the company’s investments.

She came to KS partners with over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. She joined Bankers Trust Company in 1985 where her fifteen year career spanned from the LBO Group in Los Angeles to the Private Equity, Restructuring Advisory and Distressed Debt Trading Groups in New York. Nazgol earned her BA in economics and political science from Tufts University in 1983 and received her MBA in finance from Columbia Business School in 1985. She is the recipient of  the Institute of International Education’s Women’s Global Leadership Award.

Tom joined Everest Partners in 2006 as Director of Property Management and now holds the position of Senior Vice President at KS Partners, LLC. Tom’s current role includes directing the daily operations of the portfolio as well as participating in identifying and implementing value add/asset management strategies. 

Tom brings to the firm more than fifteen years of logistics and asset management experience. Prior to joining Everest Partners LLC, he was Manager of Asset Management Services at Transit Realty Associates which among other clients manages the real estate holdings for the MBTA. Previously, he was an executive at Wellesley Management Corporation, where he supervised all property management activities for the company’s real estate portfolio including a one million square foot mill renovation development in Maynard, MA. Tom was also Executive Director of Operations at Hub Expo Centers, Inc. which operated privately owned convention centers in Boston and Virginia.

Tom is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and relocated to Massachusetts in 1995. He continues to be active in both local and professional organizations.

Chad joined KS Partners in September of 2017 as Assistant Controller and now holds the position of Portfolio Controller. Chad provides oversight of property accounting operations and implements efficiencies in the financial reporting process.

Chad brings to the firm twenty years of accounting and finance experience. Prior to joining KS Partners, he was the Property Controller at Colony Capital. Previously, he was a Senior Auditor at various public accounting firms including Brown & Brown, PC in Boston, MA, Reznick, Fedder & Silverman in Bethesda, MD and Sullivan Bille, PC in Tewksbury, MA.

Chad is a graduate of Merrimack College and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in MA. He is a board member of the Beat Goes on Project and is involved with his children’s sports teams.

Todd joined KS Partners in 2016 as Vice President-Director of Project Management and now holds the position of Senior Vice President-Director of Development. Todd’s current role focuses on implementing the company’s life science and biotech conversion projects and numerous proposed ground-up cGMP developments.

Todd brings the firm 24 years of unique experience in planning and managing construction projects, managing facilities in the sectors of high-rise towers, life science portfolios, critical environments, and large stadium settings.  Before joining KS Partners, LLC, he was employed with Cushman & Wakefield, The Beal Company, and Equity Office Properties.  Todd is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy and now holds the State of Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License, Critical Environments Certification, and Real Property Administrator.

Ms. Virdi oversees all aspects of accounting, collections, mortgagee relations, budgeting and system controls at KS Partners, LLC.  Her efforts and leadership have enabled the firm to acquire over 60 commercial buildings totaling nearly 5 million square feet of space in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Kanwal joined Everest Partners, LLC, now KS Partners, LLC, at its corporate office in New York in September of 2001.

Kanwal brings to KS Partners, LLC over 18 years in real estate accounting and managerial experience from the Helmsley Organization in New York City, and eight years of public accounting experience as an Auditor/Manager. She has extensive experience conducting audits for public companies, retail/wholesale businesses, film producers and real estate companies.
